Coloring contest

One Saturday I was looking through the newspaper and saw that they were having a halloween coloring contest. I told Claire and she started coloring right away. She was hoping so much to win. A couple weeks later I got a phone call that Claire won the coloring contest. She won 3rd place and got a gift certificate for a free mini pizza from pizza ranch.

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins!!!

On October 24th I took Claire and Corey to the pumpkin patch. The kids had so much fun there. Claire helped pick out some nice pumpkins for carving and then some little ones to paint, and make pie with. There was a bean bag toss there too and when ever Claire would throw the bean bags Corey would just start laughing so hard. It was really cute.

This is really neat. There is a table, chairs, and cups made out of tree stumps.

Playing on the rocking horse.

Just posing for a cute picture. I think Corey was trying to eat the hay.

There are so many cute spots for nice pumpkin pictures.

I set Corey in the wagon with the corn and he did not want to leave. He hand both hands full of corn.

The many, many pumpkins at the pumpkin patch.

Dedication

On October 23rd Corey and Connor were dedicated at River Valley church in Faribault. It was very nice that the boys got to share such a special day. We enjoyed lunch at Perkins after the dedication.
Corey and Connor had matching cakes.

Me and Lesa with the boys and their cakes. Corey enjoyed getting his fingers into his cake. I think he was marking his piece.

Corey got some very nice gifts.

Go Vikings!!

Claire and Corey put on their purple and watched the Vikings game with their dad.

Nature center

On October 15th we went to the Ney Nature Center in Henderson for some fall fun. Every thing there was free for the kids to enjoy. It was a really nice day.

We went inside for a snack and some lemonade.

Claire and Corey sat on a hay bale outside the barn.

I made this cornhusk doll for Claire. After it dried we were able to decorate it.

Claire also painted  a little pumpkin and pins inside the old hog barn.

Grandparents Day

On October 14th Claire had Grandparents day at school. Grandma Friesz came to spend the day with Claire. The grandparents got to walk a red carpet into the classroom. The kindergarteners sang songs, and made a craft with their grandparents. Then we went to the bookfair and Claire got to pick out some books.

Each kid in the class made one of these for grandparents day. She is supposed to be on tv.

Good morning corey

Corey looked so cute in his pj's that I had to get pictures.
