Black Friday

I do not attempt to do black Friday shopping anymore. Fortunately I have 2 sisters that love to go. I stayed at Lesas's house overnight and had the pleasure of watching my godson Connor while Lesa, Tim, and Linda went shopping. That was Corey's 1st night away from home.

My little boy up at 3am.

Corey passed out!!

Gobble Gobble

We had a great Thanksgiving with family and lots of food. Claire made a really cute turkey hat and a pilgrim bonnet. I always look forward to the nice big meal every year but always look at what I have to be thankful for. I am so thankful to have my family. Having my children is such a blessing that I get to enjoy every single day. I am truly blessed.

Corey 9 months

Happy 9 months to Corey. He is getting so big. He has 2 teeth and army crawls all over the house. He for some reason loves to go under tables, chairs, and the computer desk. He gets stuck and then gets mad. You would think the silly boy would not keep going under things.

Looking good!!

Let It Snow

On November 19th we got our first snowfall of the season. We were gone at a craft fair in Lonsdale. As soon as we got home and Claire hopped out of the car she bent down and grabbed a handful of snow and ate it. She said that winter is her favorite season because she gets to eat snow!!

November 20th I took Claire out to play in the snow. She was so excited to get out there and did not want to come in. It was getting dark and she was getting cold, but it was still hard to get her in the house.

Claire in the front of the house with the new snow.

I bet you can't tell she was very happy to be out in the snow.

Making a snow angel....

Claire must have thought that she had 4-wheel drive.

Posing pretty with an ice cicle by her playhouse.

Mega Blocks

Me and Claire got out her mega blocks that I had totally forgotten that she had. We were busy building and Corey was right there knocking everything down. We were able to keep his little hands away just long enought to finish a giraffe and barely got the pictures taken before he knocked it down.

The finished giraffe,

The cute little boy that wanted to knock down the giraffe,

and Claire really proud that we finished it!

Bath Time

It was bath night for the kids. Claire likes it when Corey splashes her in the face. I had to get some cute pictures.

Corey drying off...

and looking cute!

What A Mess!!

November 3rd I decided to clean up Claire's room. It was a bigger job than I had thought. Corey had to be in there with me and he almost got lost in the pile.

Corey, where are you??

I think he may have found something in the mess to play with.

Peek-a-boo, I see you.

Happy Halloween

We decided not to pass out candy this year for halloween. We went to Grandpa and Grandma Friesz's. They were dressed up when we got there.

Corey getting into his hallween bag on his 1st halloween.

He sure is enjoying his sucker!

Halloween Party

On October 29th we went to Lesa and Tims for the annual halloween party. Everyone had a lot of fun and way too much to eat. John does not like to dress up too much for halloween. Claire is Rapunzel and I am supposed to be Gothal. Breanna is a zombie (zombre). She made her own costume and painted her face by herself. She did a great job. And, as you can see, Corey is a cow. We look forward to this party all year and can't wait for it again next year.

Our family all dressed up...

All of the kids dressed up: Andrew, Travis, Corey, Sami, Claire, Connor, and Bre...

Harvest Day

At Claire's school they do not dress up for halloween, but they did a harvest day with fun activities planned all day with the farm to table theme. The kids were able to dress up as farmers, crops, chef, vet, and things like that. I dressed Claire as a pumpkin. All of the kids did a parade through the auditorium in the afternoon, and of course Claire was the cutest one. After the parade we went outside and there was some animals for the kids to pet and learn about. It was really neat.

Claire posing as a cute little pumpkin before school.

School Halloween Party

Claire had the school halloween party on October 27 at Hilltop in Henderson. She has gone there for the past 4 years now. I dressed up Corey in his costume too. They have tables set up with different activities at each one, and after you are done at the table you get to take a treat. One of the tables you get to make the trick-or-treat bag.

Corey and Claire in their costumes just before we left the house.

Decorating a cookie,

making a spider web,

painting a pumpkin,

ghost bowling,

and playing basketball with bean bags.

Then it was time to get Corey out of the stroller and into the corn.

Corey wanted to get down and crawl, and Claire joined along.

Corey 8 months

Happy 8 Months Corey.
I can't believe how big he is now.

Pumpkin Carving

We did not have Bre this year for halloween weekend so it was up to me and Claire to do the carving. I think we did a pretty good job.

We chose a bat for Corey's pumpkin.

Claire wanted a skeleton and the cat.

We picked the werewolf for dad's pumpkin,

and I chose the owl for my pumpkin.
